Associate Therapists

Welcome To Juno House

Julia Letendre

MACP, Registered Provisional Psychologist
Associate Therapist

Julia joined Juno House in 2023 as an Associate Therapist. Julia holds a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

Empowering young women has always been important to Julia, but even more so now that she has a daughter of her own. She is a passionate advocate for her clients and knows the imperative role parents play in helping their daughters heal and grow.

During her graduate studies, Julia completed her clinical practicum working exclusively with children, adolescents and their families. Julia also spent time working at an addiction treatment center for young women, supporting women on their recovery journey through clinical therapy and the integration of art and recreational skills.

Julia believes that everyone deserves a safe space where they can truly be themselves; a space where they feel heard and seen, and a space where they know they belong. Through the Juno House Model, including EMDR therapy, attachment theory, and psychodynamic approaches, Julia seeks to create this space where connection, empowerment, and inner strength can blossom and grow.

Giving back to the community is very important to Julia. She spent time running a non-profit organization raising awareness and funds for eating disorder treatment, sat on the board of the Eating Disorder Action Committee, and volunteered on the crisis lines at the Distress Centre.
