Welcome To Juno House

Asha Weaver

B.A. Psych
Intake Counsellor

Asha joined the Juno House team as the Intake Counsellor in January of 2026.

Asha completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Gender, Women’s and Sexuality studies in 2024 at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Asha has experience working with adolescents through Alberta Health Services, where she developed a strong passion for supporting youth and understanding adolescent development. Her academic focus in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies further developed her interest in women’s mental health and the importance of empowerment for women and girls. Through this work, she also developed an interest in understanding eating disorders and their neurological and psychological impacts.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Asha enjoys spending time outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle. She runs ultramarathons, which has strengthened her appreciation for the connection between physical endurance, mental resilience, and overall well-being. She also enjoys skiing, hiking, climbing, and biking whenever she has the opportunity.

Asha is excited to be a part of the Juno House team and is grateful for the opportunity to support families through the intake process. She values building meaningful connections and helping families feel welcome and supported as they begin their journey with Juno House.
