Counselling Services

“Juno House is a safe place to feel what you feel and know what you know. You have to learn to feel your feelings longer.”

– Client ‘AM’

You will notice the difference the minute you walk through the front door...

The primary team at Juno House consists of therapists specializing in the treatment of adolescent girls, young women and their families. We specialize in working with girls who lack emotional regulation that leads to anxiety, obsessive compulsive behaviours, self harm and eating disorders.

Juno House also works in partnership with off-site primary health care providers such as doctors, pediatricians, and psychiatrists to provide consultation to families, and training to family doctors in the role of monitoring such issues as eating disorders.

Dieticians and personal trainers are also part of the team and accessed at the appropriate time in treatment.

Juno House also consults with any other community resources that may be necessary, such as emergency hospitalization, and joint therapy with other residential hospital programs or day treatment programs.
