Registered Provisional Psychologist
Associate Therapist
Sarah Jane is a Provisional Psychologist at Juno House. She joined the team as an Associate Therapist after completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). Her path to becoming a therapist was largely shaped by her own transformative experience in therapy as an adolescent and young adult, which sparked a passion for supporting other young women through formative stages of life. At Juno House, she primarily supports adolescent girls and young women and their parents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, eating disorders and self harm.
Sarah Jane is trained in the Juno House Therapeutic Model and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and combines current research in brain development with attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy into her therapeutic approach.
As a mother, she understands the vital role parents play in their child’s emotional development. She values collaborative work with parents and will guide parents to become “co -therapists” with her in their child’s journey at Juno House.
When not at work, Sarah Jane enjoys spending quality with her young family. She loves taking her kids swimming at a local club, going for dog walks, and recently got back into skiing as her daughter discovers the sport for the first time.
