Welcome To Juno House

Sarah joined Juno House in 2023 as the Intake Counsellor and moved into an Associate Therapist role in 2024. She’s passionate about helping young women develop the self-confidence and personal agency they need to face life’s challenges and reach their goals. Working from the Juno House Therapeutic Model, Sarah incorporates attachment theory, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and developmental neuroscience into her work to help girls and their families thrive.  

Sarah completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sports, Recreation, and Tourism at the University of Alberta in 2010 and worked as a Registered Recreation Therapist before transitioning to the field of counselling psychology. In 2024, she completed her Master of Counselling, Major in Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University. She is now a Registered Provisional Psychologist. Sarah is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, therapeutic play techniques, and is a Registered Circle of Security Parent Facilitator
